He was rushed to a veterinary clinic, where the full extent of his injuries became clear. Along with the severe injury to his paw, Jordan was dehydrated, suffering from scabies, and fighting for his life.
The medical team worked quickly to stabilize him. Jordan received treatment for parasites, scabies, and dehydration. The wound where his paw had been was cleaned and stitched to prevent infection, and a blood transfusion gave him the strength he needed to fight. The veterinarian described his survival as a miracle.
Though the odds were against him, Jordan’s resilience shone through. Under the care of Eldad and his team, he began a slow but steady recovery.
Weeks of rehabilitation transformed him into a playful and joyful pup. He even took to swimming in the pool, wagging his tail as if nothing had ever been wrong. Jordan’s spirit was unbroken, and he faced each day with optimism, despite the challenges he had endured.
The final chapter of Jordan’s journey came when Lisa Chiarelli adopted him. Lisa became the loving “mom” he needed, providing him with a safe and caring home.
