Upon finding the dog, now named Steel, the rescuer gently removed the chains and sought to reassure the terrified animal. Initially wary of human contact, Steel slowly began to trust the kind stranger who showed it compassion and care.
After giving the dog a much-needed bath and offering it a bowl of milk, the rescuer took Steel home. The dog eagerly drank, suggesting it hadn’t eaten in quite some time. Its enthusiastic drinking even brought a smile to the rescuer’s face.
Steel was then seen by a veterinarian to address its health needs. After receiving medical care, it was moved to an animal facility where it continues to receive excellent treatment and attention. The journey towards recovery has begun for Steel, thanks to the timely intervention of a compassionate passerby.
