The harrowing scene drew the attention of neighbors, who swiftly dialed 911 upon hearing an explosion.

Despite their best efforts, they could only manage to assist the children’s mother, Margo Feaser, out of a window.

Feaser, an investigator at the County Sheriff’s office, displayed immense courage as she attempted to re-enter the inferno to rescue her children, earning praise from County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma.

Chief Deputy Lemma remarked, “Her primary concern was to get back in there and to rescue her children. She’s an absolute trooper. She’s a hero within our organization, and her actions tonight demonstrate that behavior. We are very proud of her.”

As firefighters battled through the flames to reach Feaser’s husband and their two children, Maxx proved invaluable in guiding them through the dense smoke.

A GoFundMe page was set up to assist the family, crediting Maxx with aiding firefighters in locating each of the trapped children.
